Crusader shirt
I received my new Crusader shirt yesterday, and immediately took
it out for a test ride. It's great! I feel so much more protected
for my daily commutes and weekend riding. Thank you.

Thanks for the protection
Yesterday, while cruising the twisties, I cooked a corner and
layed the bike down. I had on the Cool Air pants with denim
kevlars over. All I have is slight bruise on my thigh and a slight
laceration on my shin thanks to your padded thigh material and
shin armor.
Great comfortable summer product that does the job.
Thanks.

Thrown off my bike...
I was wearing you European armor shirt (zip up front) when I was
involved in an accident. I was thrown off my bike and landed on my
left shoulder. I flipped a few times and came to rest on my butt.
Upon examination, Your armor did its Job! I sustained a fractured
left rib, but not other injuries thanks to your Bohn armor, my
Full Face helmet, and summer riding pants with armor in hips and
knees.
Thanks,

Adventure Pants & Customer Service
Dear Action Station TEAM,
Just took my first ride today with the adventure pants and they
feel great! (See me smiling???)
It took awhile to get them on and positioned comfortably since I
was not used to wearing tights. But, riding the twisties in
the Oakland Hills feeling "well protected" was wonderful and I was
totally relaxed. Several weeks ago I laid it over at a low
speed and had it in the back of my mind since. There was no
problem wearing them under my normal pants either (I thought they
might be too bulky, but they weren't).
Finally, I ordered online Saturday morning, and you shipped on
Monday, and I received them Tuesday afternoon. How cool is
that? Most places take days or a week+ to get material out
so I gotta commend you for your outstanding customer
service.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks!
I recently purchased your Cool-Air jacket. Just a few weeks
ago I went down on my Harley Ultra. The bike was all but totaled.
Even with a full rain suit on, I somehow ended up with gravel in
my jean pockets. To this day I don't know how that could have
happened! Anyway, thanks to a helmet and your jacket the
only injury I sustained, even felt, was what I think was a handle
bar in the abdomen. Shoulders, elbows, back - didn't feel a thing
Thank you,

| Me and my
friends don't ride without it.
I was out for a leisurely Sunday ride on
my 2005 Suzuki GSXR 1000. Anybody who knows what that is,
already understands that "leisurely" means anything below 100.
I was getting on the New Jersey Turnpike on what was (unbeknownst
to me) a decreasing radius turn littered with gravel and
glass. My two-day-old steering damper was set up too light
causing the steering to shake under braking. This left me
unable to bleed off speed for the decreasing radius.
Then I realized the turn was also littered with glass and gravel.
That secondary shock caused a temporary target fixation, which I
eventually overcame and got the bike back on course.
Unfortunately, the lean angle required to do so was too much for
the gravel and glass. Me and the bike went down at about 50
mph on the rocks and glass. It was as if I was still
riding the bike but both of us were laying on our left sides.
I slid for about 40 feet on my side. The Adventure Pants
saved my knees and hips which were both sliding directly under the
weight of the bike. The knee-pad slid to the side and
luckily was directly between the side of my knee and the pavement.
This left the front of my knee somewhat exposed but I got away
from such a nasty accident with a shallow scrape on my knee only
about the size of a quarter. As a result of my wearing the
pants (and other protection) I was at work bright and early Monday
morning, a bit stiff but essentially uninjured.

Best gear
that I've ever owned!
I cant believe the worthless "armor" that I used to wear, and
thought that I was "protected". Thanks for the excellent
service and products!

Adventure
Pants
Thank you! I received my armored pants recently...they are
awesome! Comfortable and barely noticeable. I can now ride with
much more confidence at higher speeds and not have that "butt
hangin' out" feeling!

| Fell off the
back!
I just wanted to say that your Blue/White
Airtex Armored shirt recently saved me my elbow and shoulder from
serious injury. I hit an oil patch the other day and after
losing all control - I fell off the back of the bike.
After tumbling and rolling was able to stand up and take my airtex
shirt off. I felt a soreness in my left elbow and shoulder
and upon examining the shirt
I saw that the elbow/shoulder padding had absorbed a great deal of
the collision. I am sure that if I hadn't been
wearing the shirt I would be in the hospital with broken bones or
worse.

Kind Words
From Canada
I have to take this opportunity to provide you with an unsolicited
statement of customer satisfaction as my wife and I are very
pleased with our purchase of Bohn armored shirts for riding on hot
Summer days.
I believe in riding with Bohn Body Protection because the design
and quality of the garments provide both comfort and a feeling of
being prepared for the risks that are ever present when riding a
motorcycle.
Thanks for a great product.

Let me also mention that the Bohn ProRacer series back protector
provided by http://www.actionstation.com/bohn.html is an absolute
work of art! The fit and function is great and I wouldn't race
without one! The Bohn Proracer fits nicely under
my leathers and is comfortable enough to use in a full-tuck
situation.

Racer’s
Track-Test….
Guys -
I really can't thank you enough for creating such an awesome
product. This past weekend I had a nasty get-off which involved
me, seven feet of hang-time, and tarmac. At first, I was weary
about spending so much money on a spine protector, but now I'm
glad that I did. It saved me from certain injury and I will back
this product one hundred percent. All the bystanders couldn't
believe that it held together, of course, all they had were cheap
plastic plates. But again, in closing, this thing rocks. If there
is anything better out there, it must be magic.
Best Regards

Road Test by
Rich…
...just tested out your adventure pants on monday, april 21st. no,
this wasn't intentional, due to a clutch malfunction under hard
acceleration at approx. 65 mph my rear tire broke loose sending me
sliding 100ft down the highway. managed to walk away with some
road rash, but not much. just wanted to say thanks and let you
know ill be ordering a new pair in a few weeks (ems cut them off).

Saved the
Pain..
I recently purchased your Bohn Jacket in time for Americade.
Well it really works! While on a ride in the Adirondacks I
came around a ninety degree turn only to find the road littered
with gravel. When I adjusted my line to avoid it, I went off
the road into sand for about 100 feet and then into a gulley about
four feet deep. I walked away without a scratch, the bike
was not so lucky. I just wanted to say thank you and let you know
that your product saved me a lot of pain.

Ski
Protection Too!
The Adventure Pants I can say work very well. I remember at least
two falls I took on hard-pack snow that were painless. I even had
a bit of bounce like when I was 9 or 10 years old. To me it now
makes as much sense to wear protective clothing while skiing
hard-pack or icy conditions as it does to wear a helmet. Kind of
"why haven't we been doing this all along?

They Fit
Under Jeans!
I received my pants today. I really like them a lot. I have to
admit I was very surprised that they fit under my jeans! I would
have assumed that the additional bulk would have made them too
tight. The fit perfectly and are very comfortable. How did you
guys do that?
Thank you once again.

| Baja Rider
Bashes Boulder
Dear Action Station -
While the pain is still fresh, I wanted
to say thank you for the outstanding performance of your Bohn
Crusader Armored Shirt. Fortunately, I am only slightly
bruised. Without the protection of the Crusader Armored Shirt, I
believe I would have a broken scapula and several broken ribs.
While riding through the Baja desert with
GoBajaRidin (gobajaridin.com not a mispelling) tours, I slammed
into a man sized boulder at around 25 or 30 mph. My front
tire washed out in the sand after I crested a hill and WHAM!
I was sent sailing until I landed hard on rocks and sand about 20
feet from the boulder. The impact almost knocked the wind
out of me. The Bohn Crusader Armored Shirt had protection
exactly where I needed it - should point, arm, elbow, forearm and
back. Were I wearing standard chest protectors, I believe my
shoulder or scapula would have been broken, plus my ribs from the
back impact. As it happened, I was back on the bike in less than 5
minutes and having the time of my life once again.
GoBajaRidin was great about it, and made sure I was fine along
with the specially tuned desert bike. Thanks to the design
and quality of your product, I continued enjoying probably the
greatest ride and time of my life through the Baja.
Keep up the important work!

Cool
Bodyguard Shirts
Friend & I bought them about the same time a couple of months ago
and wear them every time we ride. They are simply GREAT. Now my
wife wants to get into the picture. She wants armored shirts and
pants. I am going to have her call you to help with the sizing. My
jacket fits perfectly and is extremely cool. I rode the other day
when it was 90 degrees with no problem. I am not bulls**ing.
I was quite comfortable. You forget all about the armor being
there. This jacket is the Bomb!!

Crash Test
in NC
I recently purchased 2 body shirts from you and we really like
them a lot. Unfortunately my husband met with an RV on our
motorcycle vacation and had his body shirt cut off him by the
medics. Is it possible to purchase an XXL shirt without the armor?
By the way, we were really lucky to escape with a few broken bones
that are now on their way to mending. We really believe the armor
had a lot to do with our escape and were glad we were wearing it
at the time. Peter suffered a broken clavicle, ribs and road rash.
His jeans belt had road rash on the front side and back from
spinning around on the road. We believe the body armor protected
his back and arms and I am sure his shoulder would have been much
worse without the protection. Neither of us will be riding without
the protection in future. It scares me to think of the youngsters
in Florida that only wear shorts when riding.
Thanks.

Note: We can supply shirts or pants without the armor, if you
wear yours out! |

Fitting &
Riding
Got the shirt today.............it is absolutely great! the fit is
right on, and the pads stay where they
should................what's really great is that now I can wear
ANY leather I want, and feel comfortable that I have some
protection! I used to be very uncertain about what style jacket I
would buy/wear, based on what kind of armor it
contained..........now it doesn't matter-with this shirt on, any
jacket is armored.................in fact, I am "armored" even
without a jacket on! Great product! I will tell my rider friends,
and they will no doubt be in touch....thanks again!
Paul Dimarchi
A few weeks later ….. I just did a 300 mile ride with the Bohn
shirt on, under light leathers............the temperature ranged
from 41 to 78(F)...........this product is great!
Fortunately, I did not subject the armor to any stress tests, but
I did take off and put on my jacket several times, and used
different layers of clothing to adjust for the temperature (always
with the Bohn shirt under it all)............. and the fit,
convenience, and comfort of the Bohn shirt is
exceptional............you can truly forget it's
there..........thanks again.

Brian
Drebber from SPEED Channel on the System-Cool ProRacer
The new breathable Bohn back protector is amazingly comfortable.
Unlike others I have used in the past it is easy to forget you are
wearing it. Only when I go to remove my leathers am I reminded I
have it on.
I used it at Roebling Road Raceway recently on a day that was near
the limit of what I could stand as far as heat and humidity -- no
"steambath back". Great stuff!

DR. GREGORY

"I hammered the Bohn Body Armor across Africa for 5 months. While
it does not stop bullets or spears it took its licks and "kept on
ticking." It has found a home with the rest of my round the world
riding gear. Can not beat the shirt in hot weather, washes easy
and gives you what you need when you take a hit. I view wearing
the Bohn pants and shirt as an investment in your well being when
it is too hot to cook in the Gortex pants and jacket.
